- Autumn/Winter 2007 Fashion: What's happening overseas -

Get the jump on Winter fashion this year with Debbie's US scouting report on what is hot now that the time to put away the singlet tops and shorts is upon us! Click on the photos underneath each section for a larger view (popups must be enabled).

The Bubble:

The must have look, either long or short, small and romantic, daywear to evening. Easy for most ages and figures.

Metallics:

From soft wing lames trousers to gold leather trenches. Metallic tunics and metallic shoes. It's your choice whether you prefer gold, silver or pewter.

Fur:

Fur is a global thing. From the runways in New York to Milan and London. Half fur and half flannel is the look in oversize shapes, from full coats to parkas. They're casual and easy.

Oversize:

Coats, pants to tops. All oversized, some boyish, some feminine.

Layering:

It's all about comfort, security & protection. Skirts over pants, hoods over cardigans, sometimes up to 8 layers at a time. Layer anything you like, it's up to you.

Napoleonic:

This is a complex look, directly from Napoleon's uniform. From tailored jackets and coats with brass buttons and nipped in waists to Josephine dresses. Don't forget to finish all ensembles off with a fancy pair of marching boots!
